After attending your complimentary training session:

1. Download the Spond and WhatsApp applications.
2. Contact Karl, who will send you a link to join the club’s Spond group. 
3. Once you have joined Spond, update your profile with your email address, telephone number, date of birth and next-of-kin details.
4. Karl will then add you to the club’s WhatsApp group.
5. Set up your monthly standing order using the bank details below.

2. Spond and WhatsApp

The club uses Spond and WhatsApp to share information about training sessions, matches, tournaments and other club events.

All training sessions and events will be posted on Spond. Please accept or decline each invitation promptly, as this helps us plan the most suitable sessions for the number of players attending.

Our WhatsApp group is for club-related communication. Political, offensive or generally inappropriate messages must not be posted.

3. FA FAN Number

Players who wish to represent Weymouth Walking Football Club in tournaments must have an FA FAN number.

Once you have received your FAN number, please send Karl your full name and FAN number on 07786 408874.

Players can join and train with the club from the age of 46 but cannot represent the club in age-group tournaments until they reach the age of 50.

4. Membership Fees

The monthly membership fee is £20.00, payable by standing order.

We deliberately keep the monthly fee as low as possible so that, if you miss one or two sessions, you should not need to stop or pause your standing order.

Alternatively, the normal pay-as-you-play fee is £6.50 per session. For players attending regularly, the monthly standing order offers the best value and helps the club meet its ongoing costs.

A standing order may be paused for longer periods of absence when agreed with the club.
